Honestly

Who should stay with TutorBird

  • You tutor school subjects as well as music, and want one tool built around tutoring. That is what TutorBird is for.
  • You want a multi-page website made with a drag-and-drop editor. MyVocalStudio gives you a one-page studio site with booking, not a site builder.
  • You want text reminders without paying more. TutorBird includes them in its one price; on MyVocalStudio, texts come with Encore or Ensemble.
  • Your setup works and your families are used to it. A move still takes some of your time.

Moving your studio over

Export your students from TutorBird as a spreadsheet: open Students, choose Actions, then Download, and pick Excel. Upload the file to MyVocalStudio and the columns are matched for you, even when the file is messy. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

If your lessons are also in Google Calendar or another calendar app, bring them in from there and standing weekly lessons become recurring ones.
