    Every new studio gets 30 days of every feature, paid ones included, with no credit card.

  2. Keep the Solo plan

    When the trial ends, your studio moves to the Solo plan unless you pick another. Your students, lessons and settings stay exactly where they are.

  3. Get paid from day one

    Connect your own Stripe account. The only fees are Stripe’s standard card fees, paid to Stripe, and you choose whether students pay them.

  4. Add Encore when you want help

    Encore adds the AI assistant, text reminders for students who miss email, outreach email to prospective students and multiple events open at once, for $10 a month.

  5. Add teachers with Ensemble

    A login for every teacher, and each teacher runs their own schedule, students and pay from the app. Never more than $39 a month.

  6. Leave whenever you like

    Download every list and your full records as spreadsheets, any time, from Settings.

Questions about the free plan

Is there free software for music teachers?

Yes. MyVocalStudio's Solo plan is free for one teacher, for good, with unlimited students, scheduling, invoicing, payments, a studio website with online booking and the iPhone and Android app.

Is the free plan free forever, or is it a trial?

It is free for good, not a trial. Solo studios are always free. New studios also get 30 days of every paid feature with no credit card, and when that ends the studio stays on the Solo plan with everything it set up.

Is there a limit on students?

No. Students are unlimited on every plan, including the free one, and you never pay per student.

Can I take payments on the free plan?

Yes. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay go to your own Stripe account, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal and Zelle go straight to you, and we take no cut of lesson payments. Stripe charges its standard card fees, which you can pass to the student or absorb. Payments and invoices →

What does the free plan not include?

The AI assistant, text reminders, outreach email to people who are not yet your students, and more than one live event at a time. Those come with Encore, $10 a month. A login for every other teacher comes with Ensemble.

How does MyVocalStudio make money if the plan is free?

From the paid plans, never from your lessons. Encore is $10 a month for one teacher, and Ensemble is $10 a month, plus $6 for each additional teacher, never more than $39. We take no percentage of what your students pay you. Pricing →

Can I move my studio over from the software I use now?

Yes. Upload the files your current software exports, or any CSV, Excel or Google Sheets file. Students, families, lesson types, prices and lessons come across, and nothing is saved until you've checked it.

Does it work for my instrument?

Yes. It is for every instrument, not just voice: piano, guitar, strings, drums, voice and more. Students book by instrument and see only the teachers who teach it.
